The Boring Routines That Successful Creatives Follow

Hey, Word press fam – I wrote a new story that got picked up here: https://medium.com/the-ascent/the-boring-routines-that-successful-creatives-follow-d5e4d94778a5

It goes on to discuss how really successful creative people, are still… just people with boring ass routines that you can implement.

Please, like, comment, share and tell me what you think!

  1. I like your normal snarky style and your first few paragraphs made me think this was more of the same–you pleasantly surprised me with several very good points. Excellent piece that I’m glad you shared with us. Now I need to go practice my creative on mots before taking a well-deserved break so I can restore my creative juices for further bon mots that at least I think are funny–even if I’m the only one.

    1. Thanks so much! I like your Bon mots! Wit makes the world fun. Yeah I’m still figuring out my niche for writing, I’m thinking of combing humor with personal development then throw in a random BS humor article for fun

      1. LOL. Well done. I hate to have a battle of wits with a half-armed person. Or worse, a disarmed person. The Federal Witless Protection Program inductee.

  2. Nice Tony. You are absolutely spot on. We must have a go rather than thinking about having a go. My much averted attempts at spoken poetry will now become a reality. Thank you, and a happy, healthy, successful New Year to you. May you have some nice surprises in 2021.

  3. I absolutely agree with your first few comments. Sometimes while reading an artist’s description of how they created some work of art, I just want to tell them to shut up.
For myself, I know there is nothing mystical or magical about it. It’s hard work … mostly. But fun too.
I really appreciated all the points you made about being creative. They are very good points and I’ve been inspired to get back to work. Moving to a new state and city has taken a lot out of me, but lately, I’ve been feeling it’s time to get back in the saddle. So thanks for all that.

  4. Loved your article, Tony. Your writing style is very intriguing. I’m a new blogger. Started just three days back. Thank you for liking one of my posts. The support means a lot . Followed you. Any sort of guidance on how to grow my blog, is highly appreciated. Hope to stay connected.😊

    1. Thank you so much! My best advice is write one day – then edit the next, you’ll always find a better way to say things with more time, post often (much more than I do) and interact with other bloggers. You’re off to a great start!

      1. Thank you so much, Tony for your kind support. I highly appreciate it. Also, thank you for following. Hope you’ll enjoy reading the next posts as well. 🙂
