Out Now – Letters From Jasper is Officially Live!

Wow!

We did it!

Letters From Jasper is officially live!

So first and foremost – THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!

I truly couldn’t have done this without you.

So much so that before the book even begins, you – yes, you reading this got a shout out.

I would be honored and humbled if you could pick up a copy and leave a good review. The launch of a book is like the launch of a rocketship – without momentum, we’re going to have a hell of a time getting into orbit.

That said, if you have the means, I would love your support. Available in hardcopy, paperback, and Kindle, here: Amazon.com: Letters From Jasper: 9798996718023: Winn, Anthony: Books

Also *free* on Kindle Unlimited.

Thank you for being apart of the ride.

If you had to write your son one last letter, what would you say?

There’s only so much crap a person can shove into the back of a moving van, and Omar Watson is officially past the limit.

He’s doing what he does best: running away from his problems. This time, all the way to California for a new job, a fresh start, and a little all-American therapy.

But on the morning of his move, Lady Luck quits.

His estranged father, Jasper, shows up unannounced with a suitcase full of secrets and one hell of a proposition: make the drive together.

Reluctantly, Omar agrees—and regrets it the second a bout of road rage totals their car and strands them at a dusty gas station in the middle of nowhere.

That’s when Jasper finally comes clean and reveals the real reason he wanted this trip: the letters he wrote his son. Letters full of truths that could rewrite everything Omar thought he knew about his father, his family, and even himself.

But right as the news causes Omar’s brains to drop out of his ears, the gas station is robbed, and the Watson men find themselves stuffed into the back of a getaway van, accused of a crime they didn’t commit.

Because nothing says family bonding like throwing gasoline on a bonfire.

Now, for the first time in his life, Omar can’t run. And the only way out is working with the man he spent his whole life avoiding.

The Perfect Book For…

If you love humor and heart stories and want to root for the underdog, you’ll enjoy Letters From Jasper. Think A Man Called Ove meets Little Miss Sunshine. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry.

Words of Praise for Letters From Jasper

“I enjoy this story so much. They make me feel satisfied, in the way a good lunch does. Full up on nice things, thoughtful, pondering, but satisfied. Thank you for sharing.”

“Every time I begin reading a chapter, I think to myself, ‘I don’t have time right now to read,’ and I keep reading. You have a way of drawing a person into the story, which I admire, and I’m jealous of at the same time. Bravo!”

“To coin the phrase, I laughed and I cried.”

“I absolutely loved it. I found myself in awe, wanting to hear more.”

“You make me feel this in my bones.”

“I love this. I have no attention span, but this held it. It’s engaging and interesting, and I’d definitely read more.”

“The conversation he has while his father sleeps — it’s true. Authentic. Deft touch, Anthony. Well done.”

“I gotta say this one had me glued to the end.”

“I was intrigued so much so that I came back to reread.”

“So so good — made me laugh and cry. I wouldn’t change a thing.”

The Author’s Promise

A good book makes you feel.

That’s it.

That’s why we read.

And a great book entertains you, pulls you in, and stirs your emotions.

Finishing a great book is like walking out of the movies — those precious moments when you still feel the story’s magic, despite being back in real life. So you smile, wishing the magic would follow you home.

That was my goal when I wrote this book, and that is my promise to you.

That I did my best to give you that feeling.

I hope you enjoy it.

And I hope you know — you reading this right now made my day.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your trust.

  1. It’s got be a pretty cool feeling going out to Amazon and seeing the idea that you nourished now turned into a real book. Congratulations. My to-be-read pile is getting pretty huge at the moment, but I can’t wait to read Letters From Jasper. (If nothing else, I love the name choices — Jasper, Omar. I tire of simple Tom, Dick, and Harry names. Ha, ha.)

  2. this is a great read; no matter the genre, writing is only good in my opinion when it comes alive to the reader, and you do that well. Really good, congratulations!
