I always laugh when writer friends worry about book promotions or feel stressed for making review requests. I think to myself — damn, just you wait until I get off my lazy bones and write my novel. The world isn’t going to hear the end of it. I’m going to be writing about the book every freaking day. “Have you heard about my book? Have you left a review yet?” Just you all wait!!! Ha ha, congratulations!!! And thanks for the heads up, can’t wait to see where Jasper and Omar end up — at each other’s throats or off a cliff somewhere on their journey!!

It is funny how we all shy away from it! But it’s like the one thing we need
We really do shy away from it. I’ve known a few “cocky” writers but they are few and far between. Most are down to earth and appreciate a fresh set of eyes. They love seeing people get the same excitement as them. 📖📖📖📚😎😎

One of my goals with my blog has always been to review other writers who publish full length works of fiction on WordPress. I think you qualify,. I’ve got tons of notes from the chapters you did publish on WP, and I’m excited to review your work. It may not be immediately, but that means I’ll have to buy your book, Anthony. I’m not going to cheat and take it for free and then review it later, and I just won’t have time this week-it’s Sally’s (my wife’s mother’s) celebration of life.

At the same time , I put my eBooks on sale at SmashWords (Draft2Digital) for free starting July 1st , particularly the 7 volume compilation of my Dancing in Dangerous Times books and Canada- Behind The Mirror. Don’t know whether Amazon is holding you to an exclusivity contract with them. If not, you might look into Draft2Digital to get your book into many more outlets. Best of luck.

Okay, I am sorely convinced that I am horrible at bragging rights, marketing my novel (latest) Quest for Absence and gaining friends and influencing other people. I believe them when they say they are happy for me but wow, after reading your blogger friends, I must be needing friends in low places and more guidance. Either that or I need to change my gender. Just kidding. It is a tough game and I am a shy gal with marketing and talking up a storm. Happy for you!
