Valentine’s Day Candy Hearts for Married Couples

“Did you switch the laundry?”
“Yeah.”
“You said you would.”
“I did.”
“Why is it still there?”
“I did more.”

“Why is the towel wet?”
“Because it’s not dry.”
“We don’t have a fresh one?”
“You don’t need a new towel, just use the dry one.”
“Can you get me one?”
“…Fine.”

“You bought the wrong one.”
“There are 37 kinds.”
“And you bought ‘Hint of Lime.'”
“It was on sale.”
“No one asked for lime.”
“It was on sale.”

“Did you feed the dog?”
“Yeah.”
“When?”
“Like an hour ago.”
“His bowl is empty.”
“Because he ate.”
“He’s still looking at me.”
“He looks at everyone like that.”

“Can you bring me a water?”
“I just sat down.”
“I know.”
“…Yeah.”

“Oh — and a napkin?”
“Come on”

“What do you want for dinner?”
“I don’t care.”
“Okay. Tacos.”
“Not that.”
“So you do care.”
“Well, I don’t want that.”
“What do you want?”
“I don’t care.”

“Remember when we used to talk?”
“We’re talking now.”
“How was your day?”
“Eh.”
“What happened?”
“Work.”

“We have that at home.”
“No, we don’t.”
“It’s behind the blender.”
“Well, I’m getting it anyways”

“Lower your voice.”
“They can hear us.”
“They have ears.”
“Yeah, so lower your voice.”
“My voice is low.”

“Can you turn the volume down?”
“It’s on 14.”
“It’s loud.”
“It goes to 100.”

“Can you rub my back?”
“Where?”
“Between the shoulder blades. Like last time.”
“You said I did it wrong last time.”
“You rushed.”

“Why is the house cold?”
“The world is cold, it’s zero degrees outside.”
“Well i’m going to turn up the heat.”
“Just put on a sweater!”

“… why is the house hot?”

“Can you come here?”
“One sec.”
“Hello?”
“HELLO?”
“I’m coming.”
“Babe.”
“What?”
“Nothing.”

“I’m ready.”
“Okay, play it.”
“It’s not working.”
“Hold on”
“Why did you go away?”
“Ok, it’s ready!”
“Wait, it’s not working.”

“Danny asked if you want a leaf blower.”
“Why?”

“Goodnight.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“I  wouldn’t do this any other way.”

  1. The in’s and out’s of everyday love life is as varied as the snowflakes that fall from the sky! Cheers to love in all of its expressions! Happy Valentine’s Day to All! ✨💛✨

  2. It’s kind of sad, but what is sadder is when couples don’t talk. It’s good when we care to even try to communicate because otherwise it’s pretty hard to coexist

    1. Communication is everything! Fortunately I did just make this so people can laugh – I also think it’s important to know that the lull people have in their relationships from time to time is universal and not specific – but you’re right – the way out is communication
